June — November: Southern Right Whales and Humpback Whales are regularly spotted along the coast. Peak viewing is July to October.
Year-round: The Goukou River estuary is excellent for fishing. Peak season for reef fish is September to April.
August — October: The coastal fynbos bursts into colour with wildflowers. A fantastic time for nature walks and photography.
December — March: Warm summer weather perfect for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing at Lappiesbaai and Morris Point.
